The signal on my 610 does seem to be very 'yo-yo' like compared to my old
Nokia. Perhaps the 610 gives a continuous reading of signal where the Nokia
only changes every 10 seconds to even out the display

Are you actually experiencing problems, or just judging this by the
displayed signal on the mobile display? If the latter, it is probably just
down to how the signal is displayed by different phones...

Well is not just the look of the signal, but im also having lots of drop
calls wich i did not have before. I want to keep this phone so bad but
at the same time drop calls are driving me crazy.

Hi Guy's, well the problem with the Ericsson products is that most of the
new handsets have this problem, it can be solved if you take it to an
authorised Ericsson repair centre, it has a shielding problem within the
handset itself, if you take it there and the technician does not know what
    to do
ask him if he reads the Ericsson bulletins which only the authorised repair
    centres receive..hope you come righ....

It must be something with the T610's. My T616 gets crystal clear
reception as long as 1 bar is showing. Haven't had a dropped call
(although sometimes when I try to dial it will just quit and go back to
    the main menu before ringing).
