Is there any difference in speed between writing to the memory stick in one
of those external readers than direct linking to the p800 docking station.
Reason being it takes bloomin ages to send an album to my phone and I want
something that writes to it a hell of a lot faster.

    cheers

a memory card reader is faster than the phone cradle since the cradle
uses a usb on serial connection (or is it the other way around... ha
ha.) well anyway, simply put... the cradle is way too slow.

I use the Sony optical mouse usb memory stick reader. Its not cheap (around
£70) but looks the b**locks and is fast as hell to transfer data. Available
    from Sonystyle UK.
