I was wondering if anyone knew of a good reputable polyphonic ringtone
site for US users. I am afraid to give a website by cell number for
fear of SMS spamming.

I used my number to get ringers from matrixm.com several times in
January-March, and have never received spam. But now I don't use them any
more, since I can beam my own MIDIs to the phone for free.

perhaps you could put them into a yahoo briefcase then email the url (of the
file) to your phone then go to the site and download the ringtone--just a
thought.

Here is lots of them for free.
It says for Siemens, but they work on the T610 and maybe on other SE phones.

Re: Best site for Polyphonic ringtones for US Sony Ericsson users?
Yeah, as the guy who responded mentioned, we dont need to buy
ringtones because we can simply send standard midi files to the phone
via IR or Bluetooth.

Although, when doing this you have to make sure the midi is
appropriate as a ringtone - some take a while to start, or start low,
which makes them not so good as ringtones.

You don't say what model SE you're using. I have a SE300 and can beam
regular MIDI files to it for use as polyphonic ringtones. There are
tons and tons of free MIDIs available on the web.
On a related note (sorry for the pun) is it just me, or are polyphonic
ringtones too soft to be useful on the SE300?

It varies a lot from ringtone to ringtone, especially if you are just
sending MIDI files you found on the internet. I generally edit mine a bit
before sending them to the phone
