I use Oldfashion.wav that came on the multimedia cd. Sounds like an old
style 'ring ring' phone. It's loud at any volume too.

    Take it easy

    )

Well, it is a selling point that just passes me by!

If anyone finds the things entertaining in any way, then they really need to
get out more! And the thought of anyone actually *paying* to download a
ringtone tune just blows my mind!

I've obviously just reached that difficult age! ;o)

To each his own, I guess. I'm currently using a .WAV of the hotline phone in
"Our Man Flint" as my default ring tone, and the full orchestral version of
the "Imperial March" from "Star Wars" for calls from my ex. I like it!

I'm with you The idea would never occur to me, I mean, to stomp money
down somebody's throat for some bad ringtone of some crappy chart-tune?
Heck, the kids these days even use paid SMS services to do this, it's
crazy! If I want a special tune as a ringtone I will just pick one from
my all-legal CD/MP3 library and shove it through some conversion tool,
BT it, and that's it. I guess nobody would be able to sell me a new
phone that would not allow the import of custom soundfiles but force me
to "download" them via €1,99 SMS or something. Pathetic!

    Oliver
