Hi folks - I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction
of a case that fits my needs below:
1) Protects the screen as much as possible.
2) Minimal extra bulk - ie no belt clip
3) Quick to remove from case
There's no need for access while in the case, or holes for ports etc. It's
simply a closed carrying case I want.
Anyone can suggest one?
Thanks in advance.

Already did, and it hasn't - at least not for finding what I want.

Some people have a habit of saying "Search google groups - been covered
many times" on here mate, seems that people are too lazy. All i can suggest
is to trawl ebay and online phone shops to find wohat your looking for. That
failing, go to your local market, find a cheap cover, and rip off the parts
you dont want! You could also like just improvise, use some other form of
small case.

This sounds quite like the one I found in the box when I got my P800...

Close, but when I say "protection for the screen" I mean something a bit
tougher. With the flip off, the screen is pretty exposed to anything bumping
into it. Ideally I'm envisaging a leather case, but with some more solid
material inset into the front (screen side) of the case.

You could always mod the case as explained in this thread on the esato
forums:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic...=35#post482493
Basically you just put a bit of plastic inside the lining so that it
protects the screen.
I have personally done this and used an old top up card! Will do nicely
until I find the perfect case
Hope this helps

Thanks. I think I'll find some nice leather case, and mod it as above. Old
creditcards are perfect - just the sort of protection I was envisaging.

Re: The ideal P800 case?
Krusell do several cases the horizontal luxury one provides excellent
protection but does make it a bit bulky for trouser pockets.

Re: The ideal P800 case?
I bought the Krusell case - it has loads of options for clips and fastenings
so you can decide how much 'bulk' you want. The slide clip adds very little
bulk at all.

Have to say this case is the best I've seen for the P800 - and gawd I
looked at a whole bunch of them before I paid up!

Yep, several times. Once even had to do the full spread thing with 4
security guards surrounding me! It occurred to me at that point that it's
unlikely a terrorist would check their gun into hold baggage but forget to
remove the holster. Like when check in says "do you have any of the above
objects" you suddenly say "oh yes! Here's my gun but I'll just wear the
holster"

I bought Nokia's "Alkistis" case for the 7650. Perfect fit, good screen
protection and easily removed.
