In the words of a former US President, I feel your pain.
Now, take a deep breath and enter any old password (4 numbers please) that
you like. It's really not all that hard. If you are trying to pair with a BT
headset you need to enter the passcode that the headset is configured for.
This would be in the information that came with the headset. If you are
pairing with your USB BT dongle attached to your computer just enter
whatever 4 digit number you like. Your PC will prompt you for the passcode
and enter the very same 4 digit passcode you entered on the phone.
Good luck

Re: T68i Pieace of ****e!!!!!!
Sometimes it only seems to work in one direction, eg on my setup I have to
tell the PC to pair with the phone, then enter a pin (any pin) into the PC,
then the phone prompts me for the pin, and I enter the same pin, and
everything is fine.
If it try the other way round (ie, ask the phone to bond to the PC) it
doesnt work. I think its an issue with my bluetooth dongle, but either way i
dont care as it works from pc -> phone

Re: T68i Pieace of ****e!!!!!!
Mine works both ways. I am using a Belkin dongle on a Win XP machine. When
the phone tries to pair with the PC, Win XP flashes a dialog box that I have
to click on to get the window open where it asks for the PIN. Other than
that everything works as advertised.
