T306 and synchronizing with outlook

Hi,

I was just issued a T306 from my office and now I want to sync 100 +
contacts over from my outlook addressbook. All over the net I found that I
cannot. Does anyone know of a workaround for this or do I have to do this
manually?

Sony Ericsson & AT&T both said it couldn't be done... this is great
little phone to bide your time with before the P800's become
affordable

Here is how I did it (let me know if anyone has a better/simpler
solution)

1. goto the SonyEricsson website and download & install the infrared
drivers

(don't bother trying the T616's Ifrared Download Suite... at least it
didn't work for me)

2. Open Outlook & goto Contacts. Click on a contact to open the
individual contact edit file. (Note!! - the T306 saves Outlook
contacts like they are in the Full Name category. SOOO... if you'd
like to have last names first in the phone, I suggest you switch those
two fields in Outlook before the import!)

3. (The SLOW, manual part - Do yourself a favor and goto
View<Toolbars<Customize in Outlook and drag the "Export to VCard" to
the standard file toolbar) VCards (as far as I know, and someone
PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong) can only be exported one by one.

A. Click the Export to VCard button. Save the File. Hit the Next
Item button. Lather, rinse & Repeat... over & over & over.

B. When you are done goto the directory where the VCards are.
Standard place is c:/Document and Settiing/your account/Application
Data/Microsoft/Signatures
Select all, or all that you want in the phone, right click and send to
infrared.

C. Click the "Yes, I accept this contact" button on the phone. Lather,
rinse & Repeat again & again. Now your Outlook contacts are in the
phone!
