sony ericsson Mobile USB Data Cable QN-3USB and windows xp

I heard that the software is incompatible with windows xp, does anyone know
if it works, can be made to work or if there are any software updates. I
with to use it with a SONY CMD-J70 so I can access the internet.

I don't know whether this matters or not, but I have no problem going
online with my T39 with DCU-10 cable (USB) and WinXP(home).
