I somehow managed to give my T68i screen a nasty scratch (as today is the
first day I used it outside it's case :-( ) and wondered if there was an
easy method of removing it? I'm considering using brasso?!

Brasso worked good for me. Use a cloth and rub it for a few minutes. It
seems scary at first, but it works!

Re: Removing a scratch from T68i screen
Try using toothpaste (not gel type), it contains fine volcanic ash works on
most plastics.

I must admit it sounded a little silly at first but i been doing it for a
while now and it was a deep scratch. The visibility of the scratch has been
greatly reduced although it hasn't gone which is great so i'll probably
continue for a bit.
Many thanks...

Re: Removing a scratch from T68i screen
This stuff has been around quite a while. I have heard about it from several
newsgroup postings and reviews over the years. They are outta Germany. I
looked for best price, outta curiousity and came up with these guys. What
sucks is $7.95 is reasonable for the tube of cleaner, but they hit you up
with $5.95 US first Class Mail, I bet the total price of postage on the
package will be about 74 cents. Yes I know that there is costs for packing
and materials , but $6 for a tube of Ointment , could that be in their
profit picture? Anyway, check it out
