Ok, I give up - where are the settings for the audible alarm for SMS on the
P800? I can't find it anywhere.
And when I do find it, how can I give it a lower volume without changing the
volume of the normal ring tone?

Control Panel

Assign it whatever you want MIDI, WAV etc.

Done - thanks very much.
Seems as though it's not possible to change the volume without effecting
other alerts, but I did manage to find a shorter, less annoying tone than the
one I had previously, so this is just as good.

Re: P800 SMS audible alert
Or just use an audio editor to turn the recorded volume of a WAV down and
assign that to the tone instead.

Anyway to change the Calendar alarm sound? The default sound is too soft...

Re: P800 SMS audible alert
I use the Star Trek 'Red Alert' sound and that could wake up a whole
neighbourhood!
