When I use the infrared with my Ipaq 2215 I have to put the phone upside in
order for it to work. Is this normal? When I have both device facing up, it
wont work.

I have no experience with the Ipaq, but this is probably because the
IR-window is on top of the Ipaq and the IR-window is also on top of the
T610, thus the unit's top sides must face each other for the IR connection
to work.
