T610 severe problems...

Been using a T610 for a few weeks now but starting to get severe problems
with it. Dialling screens get 'stuck' and I have to remove the battery to
retify. Also when receiving txt messages the phone will hang for around 2
minutes b4 it resets itself. Plus tryin to switch on Bluetooth, Infrared or
even hitting the camera capture button freezes the phone and again I have to
remove and replace the battery. I can access the Service Menu but cannot see
the firmware revision, again having to switch off then on again. Many more
problems like not being able to cancel a call or select numbers on the
keypad during voicemail. I need sum advise asap. The phone was bought in
Singapore so I'm not sure if Sony-Ericsson will be able to help other than
tryin to look for a place that may update the firmware if that is the cause
of these problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Take it back to the shop - if you can get it flashed officially to a later
verion of the software that might work, but only officially. It sounds a
bit worse than that to be honest (sorry)

My T610 (well my wifes now) is very fast and doesnt stick like that, though
very occasionally it will go into some sort of deep thought mode with a pale
blue screen and an egg timer - lasts 30 sec to 2 minutes, but only a few
times has this happened, and never more than once in a week

Really sounds broken, take it back and swap out
