I'm looking at buying a new handset and was interested in the SE T610. I
receive loads of texts and was wondering what was it's SMS storage capacity?

    TIA

    Phil.

If I wanted to archive them off to a PC via bluetooth what software is
    available to do so?

    Phil.

Float's mobile agent can do it too and it's freeware ;-)

So does mine. I've heard people mention storing 20 or more, but my
phone always shows it's memory as being 0% full in that regard, with
just 5 stored on the SIM card. There must be a way of storing them on
    the phone - but how?

You'll find that the T610 stores all incoming texts on the phone, not
on the SIM. I don't know what the capacity is - but it's much bigger
than 20. I do not think there is a hard limit, but perhaps just
limited by memory on the phone.

There also is a "SIM Archive" on the T610 which corresponds to the SIM
memory. If your SIM is designed to hold 10 SMS's then you will be able
    to archive 10. No more.

    David.

I think it's around 50 messages as one message gives 2%.
