Just plugged in my HBH-30 for the first time in six months. I managed to
pair it to my T68i and have used it a few times, but there's definitely
something wrong with it. It seems to have a battery life on the order of
    about 90 seconds...

What does a blinking orange indicator mean when charging a HBH-30? It's
    definitely orange/red-yellow, not pure red.

I'd rather not get a new one at this point.

    Thanks for any insights.

When you didn't charge it for six months, that's quite normal. NiMH
batteries are decharging themselves quite fast.

Sorry, no idea. Is it switched on or off? Normally I let mine run
untill it shuts off. Connected to the charger, it shows orange (= red
and green LEDs lighting together) for a second, then it switches to
permanent red for charging (~ 2 hrs.), and then to permanent green
    when it's full.

Well, I let it charge a while first. I'm wondering if I need to replace
the internal battery. But it isn't at all obvious if/how to do that.

Perhaps I'm best off calling Ericsson on this one.
