A slightly less common question (I hope): How do I tell which build of
the firmware I have (i.e. if I still have the customized AT&T Rogers build(?

I've never owned a branded phone, but I guess you could tell somehow by the
'Customization MS' version under that software version menu. Perhaps you
could compare yours with an unbranded T68i (with same FW version).

FWIW, I have heard that even after upgrading the firmware to a 'standard'
version, some customisations do not change - such as the positioning of
customised logos in the menu etc. But this is hear-say.

Alright, I can give that a try.

Just curious, though -- HOW does one get buy an unbranded phone? Perhaps
it's an area-specific thing, but I don't recall ever seeing them for sale.

I'm having issues with the WAP stuff. It's coded to use Rogers, and I
can't seem to find where to edit it. Also, I've got some GRPS connection
sets that I can neither delete nor edit -- although I was able to just
add new ones and select them.

I think I'm going to talk to the guy who unlocked it for me. I have no
reason to mistrust him at this point, and it's possible something was
just missed. I didn't give him much time to do it.
