I had a look at the P900 in the Orange shop today (£299 if on > £24.99 pm
tariff)
Looks much better than the P800.
Does anyone know if it can (or can be made to) sync MSWord docs and MSExcel
spreadsheets like a WinCE machine can?
thanks

Re: P900
It can sync. but I don't believe you can view them a third party application
will need to be written and installed in order to do what you want. At this
time I do not believe one is available however rumor has it that there are
one or two in the works.

Yes and no.
As standard, out of the box:
- will sync email, contacts, notes, diary, todos.
- viewers for word, excel and pdf, but files must be drag-droped
manually
3rd party:
- shareware pdf viewer (much better than standard)
- Quickword and Quicksheet just launched (from iambic, I think) that
can view and edit native word and Excel files. Not used myself in
anger but look much better than the free standard viewers (which are
really slow), also shareware
See www.my-symbian.com for the add-on stuff.
Hope this is helpful.
all the best,
ian
