Unbranding T610

Hi!

I have got the Total Flashing gold 4.25 and the R3C002 .arm and .sbn and the
..gdf file.
Plus I have a T68 USB cable.

How does it work? Do I need a login?

You need a login for the flashing gold server, which takes 'credits' from a
server to allow you to do stuff...

This is not the correct cable: you need the DSC-11 cable, which is the old
one used with T28s. You can buy it at www.gsm-software.com in bundle with
one credit.

You need 3 credits, one to flash the arm file, one to flash the avr and one
to flash the gdfs.
You can buy them at the same website.

It works properly, but buying cable and credits from www.gsm-software.com
you'll pay about 50 euro.
A good alternative could be buying the terminator dongle at
www.one-stop-factory.com paying it 25 euro and then downloading firmware and
software (div8.4) from www.cellular-support.com/nuke

I removed my Vodafone customization using GSM-Software services, but since
I've got another T610 I choosed to buy the terminator dongle so to flash my
phone every time I want, without paying anymore.

I can confirm it worked great...

as far as I can tell, the latest firmware is a LOT faster than the older
one, and has a different font for the screen saver clock!

shame you still cant use midis for the sms tone, as apart from that (and the
dark screen problem) this handset is now perfect!
