Can anyone give me an explanation on how to make T39m synchronize with my
PC through Bluetooth? I have managed to put up a partnership and my PC
actually sees the T39m - when the phone is set to search for connection.
But XConnect PC can not find the phone. Any ideas? (I know this issue has
    been discussed before, but...)

....you are too lazy to search Google and instead of doing the work yourself
you'd rather want us to serve you the answer on a silver plate.

Is that what you wanted to tell us, in a nutshell?

    Kind regards,

    Exactly (irony).
Are you having a bad day, Olaf?
The discussion in this newsgroup has not solved my problem, so I was eager
    to hear any other suggestions.
But maybe I should have spelt that out, not to annoy you?

I'm sorry, I think I forgot the sarcastic smiley in my reply. You know, this
    one here: :->

    Never better, thanks. ;-)

    Or rather, to inform us!

What version of XTND are you using? Which OS? Which BT adaptor? Which
port(s) does the BT adaptor use? Can you establish a RAS connection using
your "bluetoothed" phone with the PC?

I'm not very good at remote reading minds of people who are a few hundred
miles or more away. And I've just turned my crystal ball in for the regular
maintenance and an oil change. :-)

So, if you want help, you'd better put us in the picture completely and
start filling us in on the background of your problem.

    Kind regards,
    Olaf

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=760 should hit the nail on

I'm terrified! It helped! Now for the first time my phone is
synchronizing through BT! I deleted previous versions of XTNDconnect PC and
downloaded 'Full Functionality for Outlook users'. It seems to work. Thank
you very much - it seems simple looking back, but actually I spent over a
week working on this problem. Thank you once again! )

You know, this is a great post... Most of the time people post about things
not working, and then don't come back with results. It's good to know when
    things end up ok

I too am glad you got it working, just don't fall for the trap of buying
a longrange bluetooth dongle (Class 1 ) and expecting your phone
to sync from down the street ;-) your phone is a very limited power
    bluetooth
transmitter ? 3 mw anyone ? and it might be able to hear the dongle a long
    way
from home, but it just cannot transmit back that far.
I only mention this because it took me 20 mins to get this into a
    neighbours head!
he expected his phone to sync from out in the yard and to be able to piggy
    back
wap browsing off his PC, which was a sight more than 10 metres away!

I also purchased the full version of Xtndpc from the manufacturer's and can
    sync
to many other PIM's than just Outlook , I don't use MSoffice, but Open
    Office
and that's my next problem ;-)

    Have fun,
    Tom, UK.
