Well - In the box where your phone was in when you bought it, you will
pro'lly find a cd-rom... On that is everything you would need

You did also get a manual, didn't you?
With bluetooth, this is so much easier, you don't need any software apart
from the bluetooth device driver. Just pair the phone and computer - dead
easy - then open the bluetooth neighborhood, open the phone, and it displays
the sub-folders on the phone directly. Drag the files you wish to copy, drop
them into the right folder... Done. Or you can just right-click a file you
wish to send to the phone, select the send to submenu, then the bluetooth
submenu and finally the phone. The file is transferred and put in the right
destination folder automatically.

but the poster is NOT using BT, nor are they asking how to use BT, twazzok!
In answer to the posters question, if you have installed from the CD, then
you will have what you need. I myself only use the image editor and the
outlook synchroniser. If you have Outlook (not express) installed, you can
back up all your phone contacts into it. The image editor lets you edit any
image on your PC and then send it to your phone, bearing in mind that it
needs to be a bitmap. Witht the cable, you would have installed drivers for
it, so when you attatch the phone, it will pick it up.
Hope this helps.

There's a program called Sendfile, available from
http://www.myt610.net/preview.php?id=1834.
This will let you send files to the phone. It is easier with infrared or
bluetooth because you can use Windows XP's built-in software, but with a
cable, you will need third-party software, like that mentioned above.

Is it possible to send text files to the phone _and_ view or even
edit these files on the phone?
