With a T610 (R1L firmware), if I connect to it from my computer over
bluetooth, and then receive a call afterwards, the volume seems to be on
the lowest level and I have to press the up button to get it back to a
    normal level.

Can anyone replicate this? Is it a known issue and resolved in a later
    firmware?

Sadly, this has been an issue with every BT enabled SE handset I've ever
owned, T39m, T68i & T610 have all done the same. I just had the firmware on
my T610 flashed to R3C002 and it still happens.

Re: T610 and low speaker volume after Bluetooth connection

Glad I found this thread. I have the same problem with my T610, but
until reading your messages and verifying with my phone I did not know
the volume problem was related to using Bluetooth for data.

I called SE Customer Service in the US and they have never heard of the
problem. Denied it exists. I told them about these messages. They
replied that if only 2 people have the problem, it must be defective
units rather than a design problem.

They offered to "repair" my phone if I send it in, but at this point
I'm not sure that would accomplish anything.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    John

After posting this message, I sent a copy of the thread to a gentleman
who posted a message with the same question in October for his
information and to see if he found a workaround. He replied and ask
    that I pass it on:

    Thanks for the suggestion.

However, I don't think this is my problem ... My problem is using *any*
bluetooth device brings the volume down . This includes transferring
file to/from computer, Bluetooth handsfree etc. I don't have to use the
    phone as a modem.

I'd be interested if a later firmware version resolves the issue on the
    T610.

It fixed my problem using phone as modem. As soon as Jabra sends me
new BT handsfree, I will try it again (battery died so being replaced).

At least in the US with T-Mobile, I have the latest firmware fix.

    Happy New Year!
