I would like to use Motorola's Mobile Phome Tools for my V525 by using
a bluetooth connection. (Not using a Motorola dongle)
I've paired my phone and I can transfer files (ringtones and pictures)
via a program supplied by the dongle. What I can't do is manage my
phonebook. So I want to use MPT.
When I start Mobile phone tools and I have paired my phone
(prescripted when using a non-Motorola dongle), I have to choose a
phone type in the connection wizard. I can select V500 or V600, but
V525 is not available. When I choose V500 (should be the same as V525)
and I put my phone into "Find me", it can't find my phone.
Live Updated to version 2.19a, but that makes no difference.
Please help!

Re: V525 not in list Mobile Phone Tools
V525 is the same as V500 in MPT.
When you say FIND ME, is your PC in search mode and the Bluetooth powered on
in the V525?
What I've found, once you hit Find Me in your phone and it says Discoverable
for 60 secs, your PC should then be able to find it.
Start the Find me in the phone first, then the PC into discovery mode.

Re: V525 not in list Mobile Phone Tools
I've managed to make a connection!
I think that my phone was not only pared to the pc, but also occupied
by a service (OBEX file transfer). When I stopped the service and did
the "Find me" thing again, a connection was established.
Now it's working in order.
Thanx for your advises,
Greetz, Marcel
