V400 in UK: auto freq select?

Hi, all,

I put my mom in a V400, which she's taking to the UK (and France) this week.
Will a power off/on boot the phone to the correct frequency, or will she
have to manually configure it? From what I've found, it's automatic, but I
want to be sure.

How did you manage to put your mom in an V400 ?

Is she an very tiny woman ?
