Bluetooth does not need to be prompted every time. iTap can easily be
turned off. The hash key cycles between 4 modes: numbers, symbols, your
choice of input 1 (can be iTap or non iTap), your choice of input 2. It
is therefore very easy to get from iTap to non iTap by setting your
first input mode to be iTap, your second to be non iTap. You just
    didn't try hard enough.

I knew there was another way to the method I described.

I have a v500 and mine does need to be prompted every time It
always wants to know the passkey for the headset I use. Am I doing
    something wrong?

    Well - I'm using a V525 (same phone) and a Motorola HS810 - open it up and
away it goes - no passkey.

    Re: Motorola V500 - opinions?

    Hi folks

I've got a problem as well with my V500.

I'm not able to unset 'Call Divert'.
The menu gives me the option (i.e.):'Divert: If Unavailabele'.
I press 'Change', scroll down to 'Off' and press 'Change',
    then 'Back', then 'Done'.
When returning to the menu 'Call Divert/Voice Calls' it's back
    as before changing.

The same happens if I try to change in the menu 'Divertetailed'.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks, Thomas

Don't press 'change' again after 'off' - after scrolling to 'off' you're
done. You can just close the flip at that point.
