Just got a v300, and I'm a bit confused. My provider is T-mobile, and
for some reason the menus I'm getting are nothing like the standard
menus in the manual or the ref. manual. Strangely, the
/messages/create new message option isn't available!

Is this standard, or do I need a software upgrade?

I'm in the UK, if that makes any difference.
