Just got my V600 today (from O2), as well as a Belkin USB Bluetooth Adapter.
Installed the Belkin software, it detected the phone, had some issues with
finding services on the phone, and needed a lot of refreshes, phone restarts
and lots of other things, finally got it to detect OBEX file transfer,
object push etc... However the thing just won't connect when trying to use
any of these. The devices have been paired, I've managed (3 out of about 20
attempts) to send images from the phone to the computer... (so some
success, seems to be pretty random).
Tried using the Phonetools software, again it detects the phone, pairs up
with it, goes to install the services I presume and comes up with a generic
error.
Bluetooth on the phone seems very twitchy (the icon on the top of the
display seems pretty random), sometimes saying the link is busy, sometimes
saying no Bluetooth module installed, changing the power to on and off, can
sometimes leave the setting completely unchanged... Requiring the phone to
be powered cycled to do anything.
Erm anyone got any ideas?

Paul,
I am not sure where you problem lies but it *may* be with the Belkin
adapter.
I have a V600 and an MSI BT adapater and the phone is rock solid on BT to my
MSI, Dell D600, headset, Tungsten and Nokoia 6310i!!! I am seeing no issues
with the phone.
Sorry, as that does not help your situation but see if you can try another
dongle before checking the phone.
HTH.

I've today took the phone down the o2 shop and they had a play with it, no
luck there either. Now to decide if it's worth the hassle of going through
o2 online and trying to get a replacement (which may do exactly the same
thing) or just doing data transfer the old fashioned way.
Fun fun. 8-)

Re: V600 Bluetooth "issues"
i've got a v600 from o2 (on my second one as the first fell to bits)
there are some glitches with the head set, that dont seem as pronounced on
th enew phone.
but with regard to laptop to phone BT it's been fine.
no problem pairing or rtansfer files.
i use a dlink adaptor.. cost less than 20 quid.
also the latest software for dongle makes a slight diffrence

Re: V600 Bluetooth "issues"
as long as you're within 28 days, o2 online send you a replacement
handset straight away (the website says the v600 is still in stock), you
only return the original after recieving the new phone - i had the same
problem and got a replacement the following day

Cool.... Hopefully won't be too many problems (haha!).
Same problem, being Bluetooth sketchy?
