Hi.
I've found conflicting information on how to setup internet access from a
pocket PC (iPAQ) over GPRS on a motorola V500.
Now I've got it working, I'm putting my setup here in the hope that others
will not waste the same time I have.

In short, contrary to a previous posters comments, I found I did need to put
something in the "Extra dial-string modem commands" field.

Here's what I did:

1. Bluetooth pair the iPAQ and phone.
2. Create a new modem connection, using Bluetooth Dialup Modem
3. Use *99# as the phone number
4. enter "user" and "pass" for username and password (this may not be
necessary, I don't know)
5. Press advanced. Set the baud rate to 19200, uncheck Wait for dial tone.
6. Enter: +CGDCONT =1,"IP","orangeinternet" into
the "Extra Dial-string" box. Without this, I found the iPAQ said that the
answering modem hung up, or something.
7. I also set the DNS manually to 193.35.131.195 . This may also not have
been necessary.
