#1 | | Guest | Is there a way to enter multiple numbers for one name or do I really have to
have the same name in the phonebook like 5 times for every number the person
has. I might get rid of the phone just for that reason

Phonebook>menu button>setup>view change to "Primary Contacts" then use left
and right on the centre pad to scroll through each number type.

When you've entered a number for a contact you can choose 'more' which
is at the bottom of the entry page. You then get a fresh page for more
another number /icon/ringtone/picture for the same person. Use the
display only primary contacts (see other reply) to avoid seeing all
these entries when you use the phonebook. Oh, and one other thing, read
the ****ing manual next time. | | | |

I agree totally!
Same for V500.
There are some pictures and icons preinstalled on my V500. They are
locked. Can I get rid of them somehow. I can mark them, but when
deleting they remain (0 files deleted).
I asked Motorola twice on that, but support doesn't exist either.
No answers/reactions at all.

A locked picture is either one that's in use (wallpapers, etc) or is a
system picture. I wouldn't mind getting rid of the pictures that come with
the phone ... they don't really serve much of a purpose ... I downloaded my
own wallpaper immediately.

Agreed - try using the manual to find out how to record a name for voice

numbers, only 1 number is stored. Change option to store phone entries to
"phone", and the multiple entries will then be available. Also, once in
phone memory, I think there is another option to display only "primary"
number when scrolling.
Again, i do not own the phone. I am just giving general SIM / Motorola
features.
