F11 and F12 - convert to and from MP3.
Locate your MP3...
Covert to WAV.
Set the MP3 encoder to LAME, 32kbps, Mono
Convert *back* to MP3 (perhaps as a new filename?!)
Job's a good 'un.
For trimming mp3's, ask
