Specific questions regarding v400 and v600

Hi all,

I've been eyeing the Motorola v400 and v600 for my new phone but try as
I might, and I have been searching all over the place, I haven't been
able to find a reliable answer to a couple of questions I have. Maybe
you can help me on this.

The v600 and v400 look quite similar. The v600 has Bluetooth and
ability to play videos, and has a metallic cover. According to
Motorola's site it also has somewhat better battery life, with the same
battery that the v400 has. What I'm wondering is what the difference
between the v400 and v600's battery life is in real life? Is there a
difference at all? Also, how does reception and voice quality compare
between these two models?

I haven't been able to find a single review source where the same person
has reviewed both models, so none of the reviews really work. As is I'm
drawn towards the v400 because of it's lack of Bluetooth and lower
price, but if it's battery life or voice quality (not the speakerphone
part) are worse than v600's, then v600 I go

FWIW, I have used both a v300 (briefly) and a v600. From my short
experience with the v300 I can tell you that I was unable to detect any
difference in voice quality or reception ability between the two. I did
not have the v300 long enough to comment on battery life and no two days
of usage are the same for me anyway. I do like the v600 keypad better
and I've been very pleased with the Bluetooth headset. I always disliked
headsets because of the cord so now I find that I use it far more often.

I was somewhat surprised to find that the two phones were so similar,
after hearing about the v600's officially rated better battery life.
The v600 has Bluetooth circuitry so I would've thought the v600's
battery doesn't last as long, all other things being equal. I *have*
heard vague murmurs here and there about transreflective vs.
transmissive displays and so forth, but nothing definitive.

I think I'mna to head for the v400 while waiting for either the MPx or
the a630 to appear..

One more thing though: someone mentioned somewhere that you can purchase
higher capacity batteries for th v400/v600. Would anyone know what's
the highest capacity battery you can reasonably use with these phones?
I think I read on HoFo that you *can* use a 1100mAh battery, but that
you'd need some Scotch tape and that it wouldn't look pretty
