Motorola v600 and 500, Sony-Ericsson Z600, Panasonic X-70. Are there any
other GSM phones with Bluetooth in a clamshell form factor?
Could anyone compare advantages and disadvantages of these phones? Not only
in their Bluetooth
implementation, but in their overall features and qualities (including of
course BT, but everything else as well).
Thank you in advance for any feedback. :-)

Well, you sound like you may well be a troll.
The question was not "daft" at all, and my other sentences were not at all
"twaddle". But I guess that's all a troll like you can see.
Why is asking if there are other GSM clamshell phones with Bluetooth,
besides the ones I mentioned, "daft"????? Please explain. And that was not
the main part of my question which was to compare these models, describe
their advantages and disadvantages, etc. Isn't comparison of phone features
a frequent topic of discussion on cellular newsgroups and discussion boards?
I guess only a troll would see that as "troll material". Everything is
"troll material" to a troll.

I don't know why I'm wasting my time answering you, as you obviously are a
troll.
A lot of newsgroup threads are "unanswered". That doesn't make the original
poster a "troll". Besides, it was just posted yesterday. Doesn't mean
anything, that there are no answers yet. Unfortunate, that the only "answer
was by a troll who calls himself "Avanti" who goes looking for posts in
which to attack the poster, and call the poster what he himself is, a
"troll:.
Unfortunately, I think such trollery as you are engaged in might well
dissuade serious posters from engaging in this discussion. I hope not. A
discussion and comparison of these phones might well interest many people,
and I hope they are not so put off by your trollery that they don't want to
get involved in this discussion.
I think I am making a mistake by responding to you, As they say, "don't feed
the trolls". Trolls like you just write to get attention for themselves, and
by responding to you, I'm giving you that. Better to ignore you. I think
from now on I'll try to ignore you, or perhaps killfile you.
So--sorry other readers, that I responded to this troll. But I hope others
who are interested or have knowledge of the phones I mentioned will still
get involved in this discussion, and ignore this guy.

Re: V600 vs. Z600, X-70, V500, etc.
Anwer to the question: The V500/600 and Z600 are the only "clam" phones
with BT at the moment. However the Motorola MPX220 is on its way and will
be a huge improvement on the MPX200 and because it is Windows based,
synching will be a breeze. Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you for your reply. (I'll ignore the troll from now on.)
I have also read about the Panasonic X-70, that's another one available now.
Are you sure the MPX220 is "on its way"? There was much talk of it some
months ago, but it's usually never mentioned anymore. Instead, Motorola has
been announcing two other smartphones to come out later this year, the
Mpx100 (not a clamshell) and one just called Mpx. (First discussed as
"MPX300", but later just as "MPX".) The 220 is never mentioned any more.
That one did appeal to me, but I got the impression that Moto dropped it.
If you do have any information that the 220 is really coming out (URL?), do
you have any idea when?
Do you know of any comparisons between V500/600 and Z600?
Thanks again.
