V500 Delivery Report

Hi All
I have a V525 vodafone and I know how to get a delivery report on
that phone but the GF has just got a V500 orange phone and the option isn't
there ???? and here was me thinking they were the same phone

The delivery report option does not exsist in the Orange firmware, a
workaround is to start each message with "RCT" (leave out the quotes)

The delivery report option does not exsist in the Orange firmware, a
workaround is to start each message with "RCT" (leave out the quotes)

If The Good Lord had meant for us to be fiscally prudent, He would not have
given us the platinum credit card...
Change colour to PC Plod's lights to reply.

I also have an un-locked V500 - previously locked to Orange and with Orange
logo on it - is there any workaround to remove this Orange firmware and put
in original forware , i´m also tired of the Orange menu in the
phone.....mine also do not show this delivery report....

1st its not my work I just found it but thanks to the author

You need a usb data cable
if you have that you can download the rest
just upped mine to V600 got rid of branding and got delivery report
you will need the files on the above site
then I used flash flex from this site as the top one is December 2003

the newest file 04 on this site to flash
took about 2 hours in all including downloads and searches
if you have the cables go for it
or you could get it flashed at a carboot/ pc fair
but yes it can be done
