storing & dialing international long distance numbers on my motorola V300

The manual for this phone doesn't go into much detail.......yrs ago, i
had the motorola startac and i remember being able for example...store a
number..then add an extention, then i'd bring the number up, hit send and
just hit the smart button to dail the extention. I'm sure this can be done
with the V300, i just can't figure out how!!!.....I'm constanly having to
make long distance calls everyday and with accses codes and country
codes,its just a pain having to dail all these numbers all the time and
this would be the perfect function for me use.If anyone could give me step
by step info on this, it would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks

If it's the same as the V500, press the menu key after entering the access
code, select "Attach number" and add a number from the Phonebook or Recent
Calls lists.
