I noticed yesterday that when I use MPT to dial a correspondant, it puts
*31# in front of the number. This is shown on the phone screen as it dials.
    What is this code for?

Also, when I installed MPT, btstackserver wanted to access the internet and
act as an internet server. Can anyone tell me what this does?

    Thanks

    Stuart

After much fiddling, Ive found the answer. It does it when I have withhold
    number set in options.

*31# is the GSM code for Caller ID block per call

On a similar subject, if that is the code to hide your number when it is not
set in your prefs, is there a code or when it is set not to send, but you
    want it sent anyway??

*31# is the code to send a Caller ID once...
