Has anybody been able to use a T720 for faxing? I've tried everything
that I can think of. I've installed the phone as a USB modem. It's
recognized by Windows XP. I've tried faxing with WinFaxPro and with
the native windows XP faxing. WinfaxPro just makes a noise on the
phone and shows a error message "no carrier". Windows faxing at least
shows the number I'm trying to dial on the screen of the phone and
then makes the same noise. I also have Mobile Phonetools which
doesn't seem to help.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Stewart

When I started using my Startac, I had similar problems. Mine were
98% that the "modem" is FCLASS 2.0, and "some" applications "puked".
WinFaxPro works. Note that version 10.02 is reported to be required
for XP.
Open ControlPanel|PhoneAndModemOptions, select the modem and do
diagnostics and be sure things "report" ok. Using Hyperterminal, I
get this with my Startac.
