I have the 720 thru Alltel. Many (if not all) of the 720 sites I visit say
the mention Verizon and some other wireless telco in mentioning the 720
features. Can this phone only perform certain features with certain
providers?
Thanks,
Monica

The Alltel and Verizon version of the T720 supports CDMA. There is
another phone with similar external appearance but totally different
internals, also called a T720, which supports GSM (for AT&T, T-Mobile,
etc). The feature sets are completely different for the two, and one
cannot be used on a system which uses the other technology (CDMA vs. GSM).
