My phone tools software won't detect my V300

Does anyone have any clue as to why this might be?
I have the latest version of phone tools and I got the USB drivers from
motclub
http://www.motclub.com/down/driver/M...dem_Driver.zip

any help would be great.

Did you plug the phone into the USB port before installing the software?
If so, you need to uninstall the s/w, remove the phone in Device Manager
and start over only plugging it in AFTER the software is installed. The
phone should be turned on before plugging in the cable too.

I had pst installed first and used all the drivers from the pst folder, when
I did install MPT I had no trouble what so ever with my V300 being picked
up. Did you try checking the com settings and see if you can change them in
MPT?
