Is there any way you can lock the side keys on this mobile phone? I have it
in my and the ring style always changes.

    Can't be done I'm afraid.

This is a well known problem though, and a firmware fix is all that would be
    needed to resolve it.

Lets all get onb Moto's case

It is possible ya, but if your cell is not set to do Menu *, you will have
to edit the 0032_0001 seem on your cell to enable it.

Here is another little trick to keep the ringstyles from changing...

"If you accidentally press the smartkeys while the phone is in your pocket
you end up switching ringing profiles. This can be really annoying as you
can easilly miss calls this way!

The best work around for this I can find is to go into
Settings/Security/Lock Application and set a lock on the "Ring Styles"
    function.

Now when I press a smart key it prompts for the unlock code - but does not
change the profile. This is much less annoying - although not perfect!"
