    I have a V300 from T-mobile.
I love the Phone, its great.
I got the Motorola phone tools software so i can
manage it, download ring tones etc.. etc..
it took a while to get the software to finally recognize the
phone but i did manage it after a few try's.

the software works, EXCEPT for reading the
Multimedia section, its supposed to show folders
where i keep all my ringtones, photos etc.

has anyone else run into this?

Im using a cable i got from radio shacktypical Motorola connection.

The cable may be the problem. I originally got one of the software specific
(can't think of the name this moment, but it's a whole package) cables that
are available almost everywhere. I had exactly the same problem. Got an
official Mot cable and the problem went away.

I am able to see all of the folders. What version of MPT to you have?
Anything less than 2.21 is trouble.

Ya I see the folders for vid, audio and pictures on my v300, using mpt3, it
did also work with 2.21, like bbman said, be sure to have at least 2.21.
