Hi, I've got a V3 and I'm trying to get my PDA (A Palm V with a
bluetooth adaptor. Don't laugh.) to work with it. They can see each
other, but I can't seem to dial into the net from the PDA. Any
suggestions what I should do in terms of creating an APN, number to
dial etc?
Thanks,
BH

The V3 will operate the same as the V600 and there is plenty of text to show
how to connect the 2.

You can download the lastest "Phone_Link_Update.zip" from PalmOne. the
install the the driver for Motorola TP280i and the Standard GSM phone plus
the Phone Link software itself into the palm.
First bond your V600 with the Tungsten T.
Start the phone link from your palm first select the phone
Click on the box under the Phone Connections:
then Next
Manufacturer: Motorola
Model:TP280i
then Next
Via: Bluetooth
(put your V600 into BT findme mode)
then Next
If your phone displayed on the palm, select it
then Next
then Next again
Enter the passkey, just any number say 0000
On your phone say yes and put 0000
then Next and Done
the Click on the box under the network service:
then next
then next again if you are using the GPRS service
Slelect the country and the ISP
then next and done
When you check the Preferences and connections you will found two entries
One is with you V600's BT name
the other is LAN+your V600's BT name
and you also can found a entry for your ISP in the Perferences -> Network
which is the same as the ISP you choose before and you can use this to
connnect to the internet already.
You can access the Internet via the V600
Then back to connection
Create a entry
Name BT to Motorola V600
Connect to Phone
Via Blurtooth
Device (your V600's blue tooth name)
Model Standard GSM
then click details...
put the speed 19200bps
Init string E1&C1&D0X1S7=99+CMEE=1;+CSCS="GSM";V1
then click okay then okay again,
If the palm asked to use this phone as default, click yes.
Then you can use the SMS and Dialer to access your phone.
