Ok, once again. Windows 98 1st edition is not supported by mobile
phonetools in ANY way shape or form, or with ANY cable.
98 is 6 years old now, and in computer technology having windows 98 is like
driving a Pinto.

I don't know whether the 400 will work with a serial (RS-232) cable.
Anyone? | | | |

I guess what I meant by "any other options" was also to include any other
software? (that can dump pics off the cell phone to computer *without*
emailing them) | | | |

#26 | | Guest | That is incorrect -- USB was not supported in the first edition of Windows
95 (95B was necessary), but all versions of Windows 98 support USB.

I think he was trying to say that using motorola mobile phonetools with 98FE
+ usb cable won't work because the program itself doesn't support it.
I think , or at least I hope these people know that 98 has usb support.
The retail packaging for phonetools clearly states it only works on 98SE,
ME, 2000 & XP

I knew that I had an update for ONE of them to use USB. Thanks for
correcting my faulty memory. | | | | |
