I knew that I had an update for ONE of them to use USB. Thanks for
    correcting my faulty memory.

No, I was saying that FE didn't support USB. I was wrong and tgw was
    correct.

    >I think , or at least I hope these people know that 98 has usb support.

Knew, and forgot where USB came in. (That's a long time for an old
    fart to remember, guys.)

Forget about it, If you have Cingular Wireless ,Mobile phone tools will not
work. I've been trying to fix this for 6 months now, Cingular says they do
not support this software, You can use any part of the program except
downloading pictures from the phone to your computer.

That is a bull**** statement. I have cingular and a v400 and mpt 2.21f and
now version 3.11h both worked flawlessly. I can transfer pictures,
ringtones, sync with outlook and backup my phonebook.I've also used it with
my girlfriends Cingular V600 with zero problems. BTW, of course Cingular
doesn't support the software! It's not THEIR progran!
Motorola and the developer(BVRP) support the software. If you can't get it
working I would suggest you read the questions and faqs on bvrpfourms.com

The amount of bad information or outright DISinformation on usenet is
    staggering.
