Hello!
I found a information on a German-Webpage that the
Motorola E1000-G3 has a GPS-Modul.
I use the Motorla V980-G3 and this mobile
doesn´t support a GPS-Modul (I didn´t found
it and the Webpage sasy the same: No GPS-Module)
Is it true that the E1000 support a GPS-Modul?

Jein (Yes and No): Motorola says, that the E1000 has an AGPS-Module. This is
nearly useless without additional information, the mobile has to get from
somewhere.
Vodafone Germany does not mention AGPS for the E1000 on their webpage. (They
do not mention anything useful, only the "buy-small-but-lousy-
expensive-pictures" and watch-video-on-a-2"-home-cinema-display :-)
I was told that there was a field-test using Siemens mobiles with an
AGPS-Addon which was not very successful.
But I know that at least one Company here is working on a solution that
could make AGPS useful. (Yes, I am involved in that development)
On the CeBit fair I found, that nearly all Motorola UMTS-Mobiles are
equipped with some kind of AGPS.
