Unlocking Motorola V3

Anyone know how to unlock V3 phone? it is set to Cingular and they
won't unlock it for next 6 months.

do I need a cable to unlock this thing or it is easy as entering some
code.

You just enter a code. The difficult part is getting the code. There
are some sites that will give you the code for your particular phone
for $4.95 or so.

curious, what s/w do you have in your V3?

Yes, you will need the USB cable to unlock if you are doing it from home (remotely).

I believe only Windows are supported, not Mac.
