Moto V60s no sync

I have a moto V60s and purchased the usb cable and have MPT as well but when
I try and connect to the phone to DL or upload I get nothing. My windows XP
does recognoize my phone and I have it set up as a USB modem but I cannot
exchange anything between the two. I can dial out from the desktop however
so I know they link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

right.
i got mine to sync with truesync software.
bitpim identifies files on the v60s , but that's all.
