I have a gsm v220, and connected to my laptop, it has the usb/phonetools
    installed.
all connections to and from the cell/laptop work good except for the dialing
    out for a modem.
The driver is installed, and it seems to dial out, but as soon as it dials
the number, i hear 3 short tones from the cell phone, and it immediatly
hangs up with a error window on the laptop...
the error just says "cannot esablish a connection."
The weard thing is, if i dial the number manually with the cell, it connects
    OK.
But when modem phone tools dials out, it starts the dialing, i see the
number being dialed on the cell for about 2 seconds, then with the 3 short
tones, then hangs up real fast. It doesnt even let it ring on theother end.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? or how i can make it dialup, and
    connect?

    Thanks in advance...

    Re: v220 and phone tools

Try remove and reinstall the program. Shut down the computer between each
steps. Or try with another computer. If this don't work maybe it's your
    cable or phone.
