Re: Phone Tools For V600
mobile Phone Tools support the V600 (and everything else, I think). The prices vary hugely
(c. £17 to £60 depending on what you need). They are up to V3.19e so you might be able to
talk a deal on an old V2 CD (as listed on many sites - V2.16 or above?) and then do the
live upgrade to present version once installed. I have just been looking at:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/2377.htm
http://www.directmobileaccessories.c...ef1052983f9918
http://www.motorola-shop.co.uk/acc_l...?pc=6&us=1&h=1
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/cat/Motorola-V600.htm
http://www.firstphoneshop.co.uk/mobi...e-data-suites/
I think firstphoneshop are the cheapest but they sent me the wrong charger and do not seem
to reply to email.
This is all AFAIK - as is the suggestion that you just need the cheapest dongle and ought
to use XP SP2 built-in drivers not any manufacturer's CD - seems to be a "grey area"

or www.shopoem.com for $14. Buy the older version 2 and it will
automatically upgrade itself on installation.

Re: Phone Tools For V600
I had an early version, V2.xx, not sure of the exact revision, but it
wouldn't install on my XP Pro SP2, I kept getting an install error, so be
warned. I got V3.12 and it installed without a hitch, then did the live
updates.

Re: Phone Tools For V600
Odd, I used my old v2 disk to load my XP Pro SP2 and it cranked right up
and did a Live Update to 3.19e,
