Re: Mobile Technology For Virtual Economy

Interesting idea if fraud concerns can be handled. I don't know if the
cell network is secure enough to support that, but it's possible. BTW,
which carriers have you found that support service at sea, or in the
air. jungle or desert?

How about this:

I am somewhere in dessert or jungle with just my cell phone. I feel
like listening my favourite hindi song, "dil to hai dil". What I did
that I searched song number, say H-16180, of this song on my cell
phone. I sent song number to a server somewhere located on earth. And
my cell phone began to play my favourite song.

No need to carry lot of CDs, CD player, radio everywhere. Just call a
server through your cell phone. Send song number and listen the
favourite song anywhere, anytime!

Of course, the people who maintain the server can charge me few dollars
for a month.

Again, you would ask, who would carry my signal in desert? Yes, this is
problem. But I believe that problem cannot exist without solution.

Wait... I forgot this.

I want to watch a news, movie, match on TV in that dessert. I pressed
few buttons and I could watch it on cell phone screen. I want to surf
internet in dessert and yes, I could do it.

Communication, money, information, entertainment everything in cell
phone in your pocket.

Am I dreaming?
