    Hi all!

Recently got an E398 and wondering if it's possible to flash/flex it since I
often hear people do it either to get faster speeds and/or additional features.

I'm a newbie but I have all the accessories! But I don't know where to get the
firmwares or use which progs. I did research but found so many like MSS, PST,
Mobile phone tools...just to mention a few!

Also heat I can flash my phone using V600 firmwares (!!!?) Would that not
compromise the features? (eg, well known one, disable TFlash but enable video
    capture.

I would appreciate if someone could start me off in the right direction! )))))

    Many thanks!

=:-) I have a E398 too and was tinkering with it a bit.

I have them too. They run fine, as long as you have the right
USB-Drivers installed. There are quite a few howtos in the web,
    just ask the google.

I don't know if the E398 will run with the V600 firmware, but I
doubt it. Flashing the firmware is not covered by the warranty
(at least not here in Switzerland where I live), so decide
yourself if you want to try. In other words: This is dangerous! =:-)

OTOH I could at least delete all the branding stuff that gets me
    in the way with PST.
And with P2K I could download the JAR-Files from the games I
bought and backup it on a CD or wherever. They're named
differently in the phone so you have to guess by comparing
    filesizes, but it works.

    This sounds silly.

I realized I could change the "skin" only after 2 weeks of using it. This skins
aren't changed when you change themes.
