I'd love to know this too.
When the battery gets low it says to charge it "to avoid losing data." If
I have to reset the time everytime the battery dies or when I change time
zones, that's going to be annoying.
Not sure if this is a MPX220 problem or a Cingular problem. My last Moto
with Verizon kept track of the time and the zone I was in.
