v3 phonebook

Hi all, i have just recieved a new v3 razr and its a great phone but its
driving me potty!

Im trying to copy my Sim phonebook onto the handset memory. This is not
a problem, but once this is done, each entry is repeated, presumably
because both memories are being accessed. Is there any way to select
just the handset memory??

Assign all entries from phone to 'private' group.. and display only Private
group. All entries from SIM are assign to general group

Sorry to be a bit of a doughnut but I just got my phone and I've got
this same trouble and reading the reply I'm a bit unsure what you meen
with these comands you couldn't make a bit more step by step
